Great Britain (English: Great Britain, Scottish Gaelic Breatainn Mhòr, Welsh Prydain Fawr, Cornish Breten Veur, Scottish Graet Breetain) is an island in Western Europe. It is surrounded by the North Sea, the English Channel, the Irish Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. It is the largest of the British Isles, which you can enter Ireland, the Isle of Man, Jersey, Guernsey, the Shetland Archipelago and Orkney. The name of the United Kingdom is more important for the designation of the three countries of unit care units that can be done on the island: England, Wales and Scotland. In the Romanian language the United Kingdom is better called, incorrectly, "Great Britain", the correct and complete name for the modern state being, "United Kingdom of the British Sea and Northern Ireland".
