Our generation uses almost all natural resources to turn them into goods that serve to increase the degree of comfort.
Man must take these resources into account and use them wisely.
Abuse of resources is manifested by: clearing forests, overgrowth, hunting and overfishing.
Deforestation consists of cutting down trees on a certain surface, without being followed by their regeneration.
The complete removal of forests on a certain surface, by cutting them, is done for the purpose of using the land for other purposes (agriculture, pasture, construction) or the use of wood material. Deforestation leads to major natural imbalances by modifying the precipitation regime (drought), the movement of air currents, soil degradation and erosion, the occurrence of floods and the loss of biodiversity.
Overgrowth is the phenomenon of destruction of the vegetable carpet. Excessive grazing often leads to soil erosion, and vegetation destruction
desertification.
Fauna is increasingly in need of protection and conservation due to excessive hunting. It is hunted for the skin of animals, for their meat, but also for fun.
The aquatic fauna is also affected. Due to the needs of the people, the overexploitation of the oceanic fauna decreases the number of fish, these being caught by the nets of the vessels, regardless of their breeding period or the seasons allowed for fishing. Thus, there is an imbalance in the chain. For example, sharks no longer find such food, and hunger pushes them near the shore, where they attack and eat people.
These actions need to be controlled. Hunting should be allowed only after the animals or fish have multiplied enough, and when we clear the forests we also take into account the growth period of the fauna, plus the planting of new trees.
Over the centuries, man has developed, taking more and more advantage of the planet. Mankind needs to understand that every action that is harmful to nature turns against it.
