Dear Jamie,
Something very strange has happened not too long ago. I am still a bit scared and shocked by the event but writing this letter is making me feel better.
This happened about an hour ago when I came home from soccer practice. I went in my bedroom to do my homework but I started hearing weird sounds in the kitchen. I went downstairs to check and I saw a huge bear in my garden. I freaked out because it came really close to the kitchen's window and it starting growling. I ran upstairs and called my brother, Tom, but my phone died as soon as he picked up.
So, I went downstairs to call from the phone in the kitchen but when I had gotten there, the bear was gone! Nobody believes me, not even mom. They say I must have dreamt it all but I know what I saw. I hope we can talk soon.
