Lately, everyone seems to possess or have access to mobile phones. Because of the multiple functions they continously get, people can use them for anything from making a phone call to watching videos or reading news.
One advantage of the mobile phone is its size in comparison its functionality. Anyone can carry their mobile phone anywhere and use it for a multitude of things such as watching videos or reading articles; everything within a small electronic device. Furthermore, they had become more and more affordable to anyone that wishes to get one.
On the other hand, there are also negative consequences that come with them. People tend to become addicted to the mobile phone and it is clearly visible whenever you walk down the street or any other place that allows it. Children can even end up spending countless hours on a mobile phone with no problems; in their eyes, at least. Additionally, besides wasting time, people who use their phone excessively seem to disconnect from the real world and not interact with people as much as they used to.
To sum up, mobile phones are a good thing for us, but that does not mean that they can also be harmful for some. In my opinion, I think the mobile phone is a great tool with a lot of benefits that outweigh the negative consequences that come with it. However, we should still be careful while using them.
