Pollyanna by Eleanor H. Porter is the story of a young orphan girl, Pollyanna, who goes to live with her Aunt Polly after the death of her father. Aunt Polly, anaristocratic woman, only cares for Pollyanna as a sense of duty. This doesn't deter Pollyanna's boundlessoptimism, however.
