Sure! One of my favorite books is "To Kill a Mockingbird" by Harper Lee. Set in the 1930s in a small Southern town, the story follows young Scout Finch as she navigates the complexities of race, injustice, and morality. Through Scout's eyes, we witness her father, Atticus Finch, defending an innocent black man accused of a crime he didn't commit. The book explores themes of prejudice, empathy, and the importance of standing up for what is right. I was deeply moved by the powerful storytelling and the timeless lessons it imparts. "To Kill a Mockingbird" is a must-read for its thought-provoking narrative and its exploration of the human condition.
My favorite book is “Pezzettino”. It’s a book from italian literature but I love it very much! It talks about a small orange square, who thinks it’s a part from someone. A missing part. From then on, he promises itself to go find his other part, so he can finally be reliefed. He asks all his friends, but nobody claims to be his other part. He then goes to an island, where he learns that he is himself. The small orange square is himself. This book inspires people to be themselves, not try finding the perfect friend group, like they’re a missing piece from someone.
