blue food coloring
2 stopwatches
Procedure:
Pour 200 milliliters of hot water in one beaker.
Pour 200 milliliters of cold water in the other beaker.
Put three drops of food coloring into each beaker.
Measure how long it takes the food coloring to spread evenly throughout the water in each beaker.
Record the times in the data table.
Clean the beakers.
Repeat steps 1 through 6 two more times.
