I had never felt so nervous before in my life. I was minutes away from meeting my favourite celebrity, Taylor Swift.
I didn't want to make any mistakes because I didn't want to look back on this moment and be embarrassed.
I took a deep breath and tried to clear my thoughts. Any minute now, I would get called on to talk to her. I looked around at the other fans standing in line, I could see a girl wearing an exact replica of the "Sparks Fly" 2010 dress, a boy was wearing and original merch drop Reputation sweater, I kept on looking at the outfits the other swifties were wearing and so far nobody was wearing an outfit similar to mine. But their outfits were all better than mine. I was wearing Levi's, a vintage tee and the cardigan. The panic was getting more and more unbearable as the girl before me walked in and met Taylor. I was next. I felt as if I didn't even know how to talk.
They called my name. I walked in and saw Taylor sitting on the chair. She started the conversation. With great difficulty I managed to tell her my name.
Then, I made a mistake. I told her that my favourite song of hers was Need.
Just as the words flew out of my mouth I realised what I'd done. I told her that my favourite song of hers was a song I wasn't even supposed to know existed.
As a die hard fan I knew that Taylor hates it when her songs get leaked online, yet I told her that my favourite song was Need.
She blank stared at me, but luckily I had printed a picture of my kitten that I wanted to show her and everything was forgotten about.
