Hello! I've been trying to learn Korean by translating lyrics from songs. But today I have a problem. I have this lyric: 왜 사랑에 목 매는 건지?. I have successfully translated all the words beside "건지". I found a meaning of this word on the Internet but it doesn't really match the context in this sentence in my opinion. Does anyone know the meaning of this word in this context? Thank you!
